HAIL! - David Ellefson Comments On Chile Date

HAIL!, the new supergroup featuring guitarist Andreas Kisser (SEPULTURA), vocalist Tim “Ripper” Owens (YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, ex-JUDAS PRIEST, ICED EARTH), bassist David Ellefson (F5) and Jimmy DeGrasso (F5 and ALICE COOPER), check in with the following message from Ellefson:
"We had an amazing show in Valparaiso, Chile (January 23rd at El Huevo). We spent the day hanging for a BBQ at the promoter's house and then went to the venue, which was right by the water... a sort of shipping yard type of water front.We played a multi-level club that also had a full TV production facility in it so they filmed a 5 camera shoot of the show. Can't wait to see it! Here are some shots of us at sound check and backstage dressing room goodies. Behind the scenes sort of stuff. Enjoy!"
Hail! are currently touring Chile. Their set list honors the band member's own genres of metal as well as the classic music that inspired their careers.
The group played a rehearsal date for the tour on January 21st in Santiago. Footage has been posted online, and can be viewed below.
Ellefson recently stated: "Metal music has been our life and even our livelihoods. So, this will be a cool opportunity for us to perform some of our favorite songs together for the fans and pay homage to the movement as a whole."
Owens said: "Now this is about having fun with some friends, and just playing some fun kick ass metal! I can't wait to have a few beers with my friends in Chile!"
The remaining date on the Chilean trek is January 27th in Antofagasta at Rock & Soccer.
