MANNHAI To Remain "Quite Passive For A Long Time"
February 5, 2009, 15 years ago
Finland’s MANNHAI - featuring former AMORPHIS bandmates Olli-Pekka “Oppu” Laine (bass) and Pasi Koskinen (vocals) - have issued the following update:
"Maybe it's time to tell you what is going on in the Mannhai-camp. We've been quite passive for a long time, and right now it seems that we will remain that way for some time. How long this will be is impossible to say, but the fact that we haven't composed new music together as a band since 2007, might give a picture of the current situation. We've done four albums in nine years, which would be enough for an average band-career. Also, we've played gigs in various kinds of circumstances-and always enjoyed it. But now it's time to jump off the wagon for a while and take a look at what we've done from another perspective. Whenever it's time to activate again, we'll let people know about it. Thanks for support and all the best!!"
