LOUDNESS To Perform Songs From First Four Albums Exclusively On Upcoming Japanese Tour

BW&BK;'s Japanese source Takashi Kanazawa has revealed that LOUDNESS will embark on a domestic tour in April. Billed as the Loudness Liveshocks 2009 Tour, the setlist will see the band returning to their early days and performing songs exclusively from their first four albums: The Birthday Eve, Devil Soldier, Law Of Devil's Land and Disillusion.

Dates are as follows:

April

7 - Club Quattro - Nagoya
10 - Club Quattro Shinsaibashi - Osaka
12 - Club Quattro Shibuya - Tokyo

Guitarist Akira Takasaki has issued the following message via his official blog:

"Loudness show held in April is called Classic Loudness 2009. We will play only early Loudness songs from debut album through Disillusion. You can count on it!"

As previously reported, Loudness drummer Munetaka Higuchi passed away on November 30th following a long battle with liver cancer. He was 49 years old. While it is unclear who will play drums on the upcoming dates, Masayuki 'Ampan' Suzuki - who performed at the recent tribute show to Higuchi in Tokyo - is expected to take up the kit.
