BraveWords.com has received the following:

Sadek's new performance piece, B'doun Wag'h (a follow-up to the exhibition Faceless, 2007), provocatively incorporates Middle Eastern design, death metal music, and Darfur activism. Death and black metal musicians Steve Tucker (formerly of MORBID ANGEL), Flo Mounier (CRYPTOPSY), Nick McMaster (KRALLICE), and Mike Lerner (BEHOLD... THE ARCTOPUS) will play a specially commissioned set written by Tucker on a stage featuring Middle Eastern elements that ambiguously resonate with the occult iconography of this underground music scene.

Woodwork screens and geometric patterns that frame blistering guitars and frenetic drumming blur configurations of private and public, holy and profane, ritual restraint and impulsive aggression.

In a further twist of cultural signifiers and conventions, proceeds from the events admission fee of $5, including sales from the merchandise table, will go to victims of the Darfur crisis.

A rough mix of one song, 'Faithless', will be available for streaming soon. The record includes: Steve Tucker (vocals, guitar, bass), Trym (EMPEROR, ZYKLON - drums), Alex Skolnick (TESTAMENT - lead guitar) Ralph Santolla (OBITUARY, ex-DEICIDE - leads).

The performance takes place Sunday, March 15th at 6:30 PM sharp, during an all day event entitled It's All Yours Now, at SculptureCenter - 44-19 Purves St. - Long Island City - New York.
