Concorde Faceripper (aka Steve Nesfield), guitarist for British thrash/metal/comedy act LAWNMOWER DETH, has issued the following:

"Hi again,

It's been a while since I posted anything on here, I've got so much going on at the moment my head is spinning so forgive the lapse of MySpace updates.

Some of you may have noticed that there appears to be some gig's listed on scarletmist.com... I have to say that sadly this is nothing to do with us and under no circumstances should anyone buy tickets for any gig listed for us unless it's announced on here.

As it stands at the moment, we have nothing else planned.

This isn't for the want of trying, we have put ourselves forward for this years unsigned stage at the Bloodstock festival but so far we have had nothing of any substance back so I presume this isn't going to happen.

Neither is the other gig that we thought we had been offered, I don't want to say anything about this one yet as it might still happen, but as time goes on it's looking more and more unlikley.

Pete had a fantastic plan to get a classic American cult band back together to do a one off show with us which would have been the event of the year as far as I'm concerned. A few e-mails were exchanged which looked promising, but SOD's law this one too bit the dust... I really hope that this one can be made to work some time in the future as it would be brilliant!

So back to the drawing board for us, Kev's going to be busy with BFMV again for most of the year, so if anything does happen it's probably going to be a festive event.

If anything does change be sure it will be on here 1st!"
