A new video interview with Toronto's CAULDRON is available below.
As previously reported, BW&BK; recently received the following Cauldron update:
Toronto heavy metal heroes Cauldron have played their first ever UK show - but this was a show unlike any the band had ever played before.
Unlike the typical gig in a cramped, sweaty nightclub, the setting for Cauldron's first show on British soil is a much more spectacular one. The band opened for fellow Canadian legends ANVIL at the top-secret premiere for the new documentary movie, Anvil! The Story of Anvil, performing at the screening infront of thousands of film critics, industry insiders, and a handful of lucky fans.
Cauldron frontman Jason Decay, who has a brief appearance in the film, describes the surreal event: "On Sunday we played our first show in London at the Shepherd's Bush Empire, it was big enough to get lost in and we fucken played with Anvil our old friends which was fucken awesome for our first show in London.
"We've played shows with Anvil before in Canada but none of them were as huge as this. The shit hit the fan and the rice exploded all over the place, even in the beer which disappeared. It was one big party, we got rite fucked rite up drunk and we intend to do the same tomorrow in London at our show with Gama Bomb. The show tomorrow will be our first full set on UK soil and it should be great."Check out a photo of Cauldron together with Anvil backstage at the premiere on the left (click to enlarge).
