GlamMetal.com has issued a new interview with WARRANT guitarist Erik Turner. The following is an excerpt from the interview, conducted by Deb Rao:

Q: It is ironic that one of the biggest reunion shows with Jani (Lane) took place last summer in Oklahoma, and your first show of 2009 was in Oklahoma with Robert Mason? How have the fans responded to Robert?

A: Robert sings the songs perfect, he can hit all the high and low notes! The Warrant fans get all the songs they want hear from the first three CDs. We are playing 16 songs in the set and will be adding a few more soon! Each show we play we get tighter and more comfortable with Robert, it feels very natural, like he has been in the band since the beginning."

Q: Was Warrant disappointed when the reunion with Jani didn't work out, or did you feel that everyone gave it their best shot and it wasn't met to be?

A: "Of course we were very disappointed that things didn't work out with Lane and the reunion. We all put a lot of time and effort into making that work, emotionally and physically and when it didn't last long, it was a big let down. All you can do is your best and when it doesn't work out you just move forward in a new positive direction. God closes one door, then opens another. This is the best sounding line up we have had in a long, long time."
