DECAPITATED guitarist Vogg has issued the following announcement:

"Hello everyone,

I was thinking about that for a long time and it’s really hard decision for me, but I have decided to continue this band and keep Decapitated alive. I know it will be not the same anymore but I want to try and I’m sure Witek and Covan will support me and will be happy about that

So I want to say that, if anybody from drummers and vocalists feel that they can continue what Witek and Covan did and put all power, energy and live time for this band contact me at decapitatedband@gmail.com

Everyone who is interested, please prepare this tracks: 'Day 69', 'Post Organic', 'Invisible Control', 'Long Desired Dementia' - and send it as audiovideo format."

As previously reported, on October 29, 2007, while travelling to a show in Gomel, Belarus, Decapitated and the other band that was on the tour bus, CRIONICS, were involved in a serious bus accident. The tour bus collided with a truck carrying wood, giving serious head injuries to Witold 'Vitek' Kieltyka and Adrian 'Covan' Kowanek.

The two were taken to a hospital in Novozybkov, Russia. While Kieltyka's family released a statement on November 1, 2007, saying that his condition had improved, he went under trepanation, and he was due to be transported to a hospital in Krakow, Poland for further treatment. However, Witold 'Vitek' Kieltyka died on November 2, 2007 at the age of 23.
