DESASTER To Celebrate 20th Anniversary With Jubilee Gig On River Rhine

German black thrash metal force DESASTER will celebrate its 20th Anniversary in 2009. To make this a memorable event not to be forgotten, the band hired the infamous MS Rheingold (the same boat where the Metal Cruise takes place) to host the show. Support comes from MARTIN MISSY AND THE PROTECTORS and WITCHBURNER.
The event takes place the of September, 26th and the boat departs from the Rheinpromenade in Koblenz, Germany.

On that evening, a 20 Years Of Desaster box set will be on sale for the first time. Released by Iron Pegasus Records, the box includes four Picture LPs (including four new songs) and some other special surprises. There will be special event shirts available as well.
