hot flashes news steve grimmett band tony harnell

Z Rock 2009 is scheduled for May 29th - 30th at JB's in Dudley, England. Organizers have announced that the STEVE GRIMMETT BAND - featuring former GRIM REAPER/ONSLAUGHT singer Steve Grimmett - will be replacing TONY HARNELL.

Organizers comment: "As most of you will be aware, Tony Harnell had to cancel his appearance at Firefest due to personal commitments. When booking Tony we knew that the issue was still very much a concern for Tony but all parties agreed that due to the time frame Z Rock was very much a possibility. Things have ran a little differently than expected and as such Tony cannot totally confirm his appearance at Z Rock 2009 and has aired his concerns re disappointing his fans closer to the event. We totally understand his position and wholeheartedly support his decision. Tony Knows the door is open for Z Rock 09 Canada or ZRock 2010. We hope that everyone understands his position and gives him there utmost support during this difficult time."

The now complete lineup as follows:

Friday, May 29th: WIG WAM, STEVE GRIMMETT BAND, STAMPEDE, STORMZONE, ANGELHOUSE

Saturday, May 30th: JOHN WAITE, BIG NOIZE, VON GROOVE, EDEN, NEWMAN, H.A.R.D., LEC ZORN PROJECT, CORNERSTONE.

Tickets are priced at £30.00 and currently only available online at www.zrecords.net and www.myspace.com/zrockfest.
