Welcome to the official SAXON Riff King iPhone App!

This special Saxon Riff King App lets you check all video entries in the current Riff King competition, it shows you the new Saxon video clip or you can listen in the interactive booklet feature to samples of the latest Saxon studio album Into The Labyrinth. The Saxon Riff King App! is available in the iPhone App! store worldwide.

What? You don‘t know what the Saxon Riff King competition is!?! OK... here we go:

This is your once-in-a-lifetime opportunity: Saxon and their record company SPV are looking for the Riff King!

Are there amazing musical talents slumbering inside you? Can you play the guitar like the world-famous stars of the metal scene? Or are you a virtuoso bassist, keyboardist, drummer, tuba or mouth organ player? And have you always wanted to play live on stage with a real metal legend?

You can fill in your own solo (its up to you which instrument you choose, anything goes!) into the part where the song is faded out on the current Saxon song, 'Live To Rock'.

Simply record your contribution by webcam or video camera and submit it to the Riff King channel on YouTube via the Riff King playback videos video reply function.

The Riff King competition is extended 'til April 23rd. Over hundreds of fans already send their solos and every day there are more. So hurry up and remember: the winner plays with SAXON on stage.
