Hall Of Metal has issued a new interview with NAPALM DEATH bassist Shane Embury. The following is an excerpt from the interview:
Q: The sound of Napalm Death has changed a lot over the years. What are the reasons for those changes, comparing for example Scum and Harmony Corruption or the fantastic The Code Is Red.
A: "The band doesn't analyze what it does but follows it's heart, so the sounds are results of the time where bad is it."
Q: "Let's talk about the new album. What does Time Waits For No Slave mean? What is the context of the album?
A: "Living your life to its fullest potential while you still have the chance."
Q: How was the recording process? I think that especially the guitars and the voices are very accurate.
A: "We recorded the album pretty quickly and worked with Russ Russel who has worked with us for the past few albums, we keep our sounds very simple."
