AREA51 - New Album In The Works, New Song To Appear On Japanese Anime CD Compilation

AREA51 guitarist / founder Yoichiro Ishino has checked in to BW&BK; with the following update on the band's forthcoming album and current activities:
"We've already finished to record some demo songs. We will provide one new song to a Japanese anime compilation CD. This kind of tie-in is very important to get more attention in Japan. We are very happy about this. This compilation album will be released in the fall through record label Lantis. The owner was a former keyboard player of LAZY, the well known former band of LOUDNESS guitarist Akira Takasaki and drummer Munetaka Higuchi.Area51's new album will be out in early 2009. We'll start to record this album after I finish recording ANTHEM vocalist Eizo Sakamoto's new project."
