Dutch band THE GATHERING check in with the following:
"We have just made a fourth track from The West Pole available for streaming. This time we didn’t use MySpace, which despite of its popularity, only provide poor quality mp3s. 'No Bird Call' is exclusively available for streaming on our webshop with a quite higher quality than the MySpace player.We hope you like it!"
The Gathering previously announced that their new album, The West Pole (artwork on the left, click to enlarge) will be released on May 4th in Europe (May 8th in Germany).
The band have now confirmed that the album will be available in North America on June 2nd, via Season Of Mist.
The West Pole features the following tracklisting: 'When Trust Becomes Sound', 'Treasure', 'All You Are', 'You Promised Me A Symphony', 'The West Pole', 'Capital Of Nowhere', 'No Bird Call', 'Pale Traces', 'No One Spoke', 'Constant Run'.
A quick message from the band reads: "Currently we are rehearsing a lot, as we have some festival gigs in Europe coming up!Rehearsals are going very well, and we are really looking forward to playing live again, after such a long time.
After the festival season (end of summer) we will start a European club tour to promote our new album The West Pole. If we have some news we will inform you ASAP."
