SONS OF SEASONS Introduce Second Guitarist

SONS OF SEASONS founder Oliver Palotai, perhaps best known as the keyboardist for KAMELOT, has issued the following update:
"As you might have noticed there's a fifth portrait in the row of band members. Already for the first four shows in February, Pepe Pierez from Northern Germany joined our ranks. Pepe is a fantastic guitarist, proving his skills in the past in the band ANCIENT CURSE. He will be responsible to give Sons Of Seasons also on stage the full sound people know from the record, on rhythm as on lead guitar. Welcome Pepe!"
As previously reported, BW&BK; scribe Carl Begai recently caught up with Palotai to discuss Sons Of Seasons. Following is an excerpt from the interview, with Palotai discussing his motivation in launching his own project.
“It seems like I’ve been on a moving train for many, many years, becoming a member of bands that had been around for a long time (DORO, BLAZE). Those bands all have their songwriters, they have certain ways of working, which makes it difficult for me to get into the songwriting part of the band. Composing stuff is very important to me – maybe even a little bit more important than my playing – so I needed a playground for myself where I could be creative without fulfilling the visions of others. It’s not an ego thing; I just like being able to sit down and compose songs the way I want.”Go to this location for the complete interview.
As previously reported, Sons Of Seasons debut album, Gods Of Vermin, will be released via Napalm Records on the following dates:
