Author / Musician JOEL GAUSTEN Uncovers "The Rarest Of All MISFITS Recordings"

Author/ musician Joel Gausten, who has penned books on BLACK SABBATH, PRONG, THE MISFITS / THE UNDEAD, has issued the following update:
"In my cleaning spree, I have uncovered a reel of a MISFITS radio ad (with Jerry doing a spoken word voice-over bit over a loop of 'Horror Business') for the Action Park show that never aired. It was recorded during the Mars Attacks sessions in the summer of 1996. Six copies were made - four of which went to the members of the band, the fifth going to the band's manager, Rocky.I own the copy 1 of 6.
Jerry signed the case, on top of a note that reads: 'Dear Joel, Thankx for helping out at Action Park - Mo'
I forgot all about this thing. It is an un-played reel and the rarest of all Misfits recordings. Anyway, I'm going to post a blog about this - including pics - in the near future..."
