"I can not believe I'm sitting first row at American Idol," commented VELVET REVOLVER guitarist SLASH on Twitter today (May 5th). The former GUNS N' ROSES guitar legend coached the final four "idols" tonight: favourite Adam Lambert, Kris Allen, Allison Iraheta and Danny Gokey.

On American Idol rock week, Lambert took a shot at LED ZEPPELIN's 'Whole Lotta Love', while Iraheta covered the JANIS JOPLIN classic 'Cry Baby' - Slash remarking: "She's got a natural rock 'n' roll mannerism and swagger. She just needs to bring it on when she comes out." Allen covered THE BEATLES 'Come Together' and Gokey tackled AEROSMITH's ' Dream On'.

The first duet of the night saw Allen and Gokey perform STYX' 'Renegade' followed by Lambert and Iraheta's take on FOGHAT's 'Slowride'.

Tomorrow (May 6th) one idol will be voted off. American Idol will air on Fox at 9PM/8C. For more details visit www.americanidol.com.
