Meanwhile, frontman Mike Conte recently launched a brand new metal blog, a spinoff of his column at MetalSucks.net. The blog, like his column, is called 'Whiplash!' and features Conte along with other guest bloggers ranting and raving about everything from ROB HALFORD's new clothing line to Michael Angelo of NITRO to Darth Vader impersonators. The blog can be found here.

Early Man recently finished recording their long-awaited sophomore full-length with Jack Endino (HIGH ON FIRE, ZEKE, Valient Thorr, NIRVANA). The album, entitled Death Potion, is the follow-up to the band's 2005 debut Closing In (Matador) and will be released by The End Records this year.
