VREID Comment On Upcoming Wacken Open Air Appearance

Norwegian black metallers VREID are confirmed for the 2009 Wacken Open Air festival, scheduled for July 30th - August 1st in Wacken, Germany. The band will perform on Friday, July 31st.
In reaction to their confirmation, bass guitarist Hváll states: “When we played Wacken in 2006 we played in the tent. The tent was packed, and thousands were standing outside. The atmosphere and response from the audience was fantastic. To this day it is one of the most memorable shows we have ever done. We are extremly glad that we can return to Wacken, and are eagerly awaiting to enter the German battlefields once again.”
