AeroForceOne, the official fan club of AEROSMITH has posted the following update:
"The Music & Youth Initiative, a non-profit organization dedicated to funding free afterschool music programs for inner city youth, is now holding an on-line auction. Want a personal drum lesson from Joey Kramer or a bass lesson from Tom Hamilton? Well, now’s your chance! How about a trip to beautiful Aruba or Hilton Head Island? Win a signed Lance Armstrong or Doug Flutie jersey or a Les Paul Guitar signed by the legendary Les Paul himself! Here’s your chance to win these and other great items!Click here and bid generously!! Make the winning bid – all net proceeds from the auction will go directly to the Music and Youth Initiative’s programs!
Music & Youth Initiative (www.musicandyouth.org) funds an afterschool program for inner city youth who have the opportunity to take free music lessons in guitar, keys, drums, and voice, and produce and record their own music. With your help, we are able to bring these exciting programs to a greater number of deserving kids. Tom Hamilton serves on the board of Music and Youth and Joey Kramer has been a big supporter. This is a program they really believe in and we hope you do too!
We know that music opens a world of fun, creativity, and builds self-confidence and self-esteem. We know kids who take music lessons do better in school and stay in school. We also know that budget cuts in many schools have eliminated these programs for many underserved kids.
So, treat yourself to some great unique items, and do something great for these kids at the same time…a win-win!
Thanks in advance for your support!"
