KYLESA Wraps Up MASTODON Tour, Announces Dates With COHEED AND CAMBRIA

The Savannah, Ga.-based psychedelic metal quintet KYLESA, whose touring in support of their new album Static Tensions, has wrapped up a six-week tour with fellow Georgians Mastodon on Friday night (May 15) with a sold-out show in Atlanta.

Although Kylesa has been touring steadily throughout the year, including regional dates with AMEBIX and SKELETONWITCH and a seven-show Japanese tour in February, the MASTODON tour marked the first full North American tour in support of Static Tensions. The band will continue touring through month's end, including two shows in the US Northeast alongside Coheed and Cambria. Newly confirmed dates include the

Guitarist/vocalist Laura Pleasants checks in with the following update: "The tour with Mastodon was a killer experience, as the lineup was really strong and everyone had a great time together.
