ANTHRAX drummer Charlie Benante has issued the following brief message in regards to the band's forthcoming studio album, Worship Music, due for release this fall:

"...our new album, Worship Music, will be out in October, oops, I meant ROCKTOBER. It kinda sounds like THE BANANA SPLITS meets BLACK SABBATH meets FASTWAY meets W.A.S.P., ya got that? I'm joking, it doesn't meet Sabbath."

Anthrax has been putting the finishing touches on Worship Music, their first new studio album in six years. The album marks the studio debut of new singer Dan Nelson who joins longtime members Scott Ian (rhythm guitar), Frank Bello (bass), Charlie Benante (drums), and Rob Caggiano (lead guitar).

A return to Anthrax's heaviest best, confirmed tracks include 'Vampires', 'Crawl', 'The Devil You Know', 'The Giant', 'Fight 'Em 'Til You Can't' and 'Earth On Hell'.

The album was produced by Caggiano and Anthrax.

As previously reported, Benante is offering up to fans an exclusive listen to the band's new album, Worship Music, via TheLiveLine. The song 'Earth On Hell' can be heard on Benante's Audio Blog at 888.775.4786.
