hot flashes news one man army and the undead quartet

Johan Lindstrand, vocalist for ONE MAN ARMY AND THE UNDEAD QUARTET, has issued the following update:

"We will start with a couple of auditions today. We have three guys on our current list that seems interesting for us. Stay tuned for more info on how that progress goes."

The audtions are to replace guitarist Mikael Lagerblad who left the band in April. Until now, a temporary session guitar player, Rune Foss from RECLUSION, had been filling in.

"And need I tell you that we will not release a new album this year. We have worked really hard since we started in 2004 but 2009 will be the first year to put our feet on the breaks. We will take it really easy with stuff. Do a couple of on off shows, get a new member and then focus on the fourth album in 2010. We are definitely not in a hurry, but when we do come back with new material it will be something special. That's a promise."

In live news, One Man Army And The Undead Quartet has the following shows booked:

June

26 - Roxy - Flensburg

August

28 - Festival Ilha Do Ermal - Vieira Do Minho

September

19 - Niederbayernhalle - Ruhstorf
