On March 2, 2009, Norwegian black metallers 1349 rolled into New York City to play B.B. Kings Blues Club & Grill in support of their latest album, Revelations Of The Black Flame (Candlelight Records). We took the opportunity to invite guitarist Archaeon into our New York headquarters for a little video interview and riff lesson.
In the following clips, Archaeon discusses a range of topics including his gear, right-hand techniques and the new album, before showing how to play key riffs from 1349 classics like 'Celestial Deconstruction', 'Chasing Dragons' and 'Sculptor Of Flesh'."
