Germany's SECRETS OF THE MOON have announced the first European leg of their Privilegivm World Tour. The tour will also feature Iceland's SOLSTAFIR and Britain's CODE.

The headlining band will change each night. BORKNAGAR will also appear on select dates.

Another message from the band reads: "Secrets Of The Moon found a permanent live guitarist in Ar who played the past shows with us and will appear on all upcoming dates as well:

Ar states, "Actually, my appearance in Secrets Of The Moon was supposed to be a temporary one. However, during the first 4 gigs we did together I revealed LSK, sG and Thelemnar as kindred spirits. It felt amazingly, yes strangely natural to manifest together and to act as a union. Therefore I proudly proclaim this as a permanent live collaboration."

Ar has been active in NEGURA BUNGET on bass guitar before the original band split up. His own band ODEM ARCARUM recently signed a contract with a well-known record label."

Secrets Of The Moon recently revealed the following tracklisting for their fourth album, Privilegivm, due out in September 2009 via Prophecy Productions: 'Privilegivm', 'Sulphur', 'Black Halo', 'I Maldoror', 'Harvest; Part I: I Forgive Myself, Part II: The Tree Of Life, Part III: Exsultet', 'For They Know Not', 'Queen Among Rats', 'Descent' (Instr.), 'Shepherd'.

According to a band update, "the album was mastered by Peter in De Betou in Stockholm (www.tailormaid.se) after weeks of mixing and endless listening sessions on car hifi, headphones and monitor speakers. We hope you will like the final 'sound suit'. We are very satisfied, thanks to producer markus stock. Two more songs were recorded... maybe used for vinyl, special editions whatever."

The band's guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter sG recently commented. "In terms of sound, this is the best material we have recorded so far. The songs have reached the level of Antithesis even before being mixed. They have an intense depth and are unpredictable."

As previously reported, Secrets Of The Moon will be holding an exclusive listening session for Privilegivm on Saturday, June 13th at 6:30 PM at Access Bar in Berlin. Not only will all participants have the chance to listen to the album some time before its release, but the band will also perform some new songs live on stage with support from their labelmates FARSOT.
