ALCHEMIST Nominated For Australian Heavy Metal Awards

Progressive Australian metal band ALCHEMIST are among the nominees for the 2009 Australian Metal Awards. Alchemist are up for Best Live Band and Best Film Clip for their most recent video 'Tongues And Knives' taken from their album Tripsis (see below). Voting is taking place here, with the winners to be announced at the 2009 Australian Metal Awards ceremony show on November 7th at the Forum in Sydney. Alchemist are currently writing material for their follow-up album to Tripsis, with plans to begin recording later this year for a 2010 release date. Sample tracks taken from Tripsis can be heard now via the band’s MySpace page.
