MEGADETH - New Album Due In September
June 6, 2009, 15 years ago
MEGADETH's Dave Mustaine has announced that the band's new album will be released in September via Roadrunner Records. The as-yet-untitled follow-up to 2007's United Abominations will feature 12 songs produced by Andy Sneap (NEVERMORE, ARCH ENEMY) including 'Headcrusher', 'Nothing Left To Lose', 'Bite The Hand That Feeds', '1'320', 'How The Story Ends', 'This Day We Fight' and 'Endgame'.
In a recent update on Theliveline.com, Mustaine remarked: "I'm more excited about this record then I've been in any record since back in the 1980s. I would say, probably since, well definitely since Rust In Peace there's nothing that's excited me this much - maybe Countdown (To Extinction), but this is just absolutely insane."
Megadeth will headline the Canadian Carnage tour alongside SLAYER, MACHINE HEAD and SUICIDE SILENCE. Confirmed dates are as follows:
June
24 - GM Place - Vancouver, BC26 - Rexall - Edmonton, AB
27 - Saddledome - Calgary, AB
29 - MTS Centre - Winnipeg, MB
