EX DEO, the new Roman themed super group led by Maurizio Iacono (KATAKLYSM), will release their debut album, Romulus, via Nuclear Blast Records on June 19th in Europe and June 30th in North America.

As previously reported, Ex Deo have posted the new track 'Legio XIII' on their MySpace page.

The song comes from Romulus, which also features guest appearances by Karl Sanders (NILE), Nergal (BEHEMOTH), Obsidian C. (KEEP OF KALESSIN).

Iacono commented: “First I’d like to say a big THANK YOU for the overwhelming response for the video to the title track, ‘Romulus.’ Word of mouth has been spreading like wildfire worldwide about Ex Deo at the moment! I didn’t think there were so many metal heads that were into the concept of the band and Roman history as much as I am.
