According to Contactmusic.com, KISS' GENE SIMMONS credits his outrageous stage costume with helping him stay fit and in shape. Simmons and his bandmates perform in leather, heavy make-up and lofty platform shoes, and the rock star insists he sheds so many calories during concerts, he can eat whatever he likes.
He says, "When you train your body to walk on these platform heels for hours and carry 30 pounds of guitar stuff and outfits, it's a terrific workout. You can eat cheesecake every day and not gain a pound."
