Florida death metallers OBITUARY will issue their new album, Darkest Day, on June 30th, via Candlelight.

Singer John Tardy has issued the following statement:

"I have not been this excited about a release since Slowly We Rot! I am not sure what it is about this Darkest Day CD but, it just has me all fired up! All the reviews have been just awesome and I thank everyone for all the support but, I really can't wait to hear what you guys think! Send me an email and let me know: fans@obituary.cc

We have a lot going on right now and a lot coming up. First, I am in the middle of remodeling the studio. It has been in need of a face lift and a good cleaning, so I have been busting ass on that! Second, we have some festivals in Europe coming up next month that we need to get ready for and the U.S. Tour in September is also getting closer and closer and we have a lot to do before that!!!"

As previously reported, the band are now streaming the new song, 'List Of Dead', at their MySpace page.

A pre-order for Darkest Day is now available for a t-shirt/limited edition CD pack at this location.

The tracklisting for the release is as follows: 'List Of Dead', 'Blood To Give', 'Lost', 'Outside My Head', 'Payback', 'Your Darkest Day', 'This Life', 'See Me Now', 'Fields Of Pain', Violent Dreams', 'Truth Be Told', 'Forces Realign' and 'Left To Die'.
