After an incredible headline set in front of 80,000 + fans at this year’s Download Festival on Saturday, June 13th, and an overwhelming response to the live tracks they broadcast from the band on the 4 hour Download - Rock Show Special on Monday, June 15th , BBC Radio 1 have confirmed they will broadcast Slipknot’s headline Download 09 set... in full, on next weeks Rock Show.
Tune in to the BBC Radio 1 Rock Show, presented by Daniel P Carter, at the end of the day on Monday, June 22nd at Midnight, to hear Corey Taylor and Shawn Crahan from the band reflecting on their monumental and now legendary headline set, and then re-live Slipknot’s entire set, in full, recorded exclusively, for the BBC.
