Ex-MEGADETH Guitarist GLEN DROVER - "I Think MICHAEL JACKSON Was Awesome; Just Listen To Albums Like Off The Wall..."

Ex-MEGADETH guitarist Glen Drover has contacted BW&BK; with his thoughts on the passing of the pop music legend Michael Jackson.
"What a horrible day it was yesterday. If it wasn't enough hearing Farrah Fawcett losing her battle with cancer, it seemed like a couple of hours later we lost such a great talent, Michael Jackson.I have to agree with Jeff (Young) (fellow ex-Megadeth axe) about the media stuff. I (like I'm sure most people around the world) was flipping through TV channels yesterday watching the media coverage and watching them praise Michael, while before Michael's passing, these people made him sound like a child molester. I personally never believed it and think it was assholes looking to extort from him and of course the media, who I believe really messed up his life with all of that. I think Michael was awesome. Just listen to albums like Off The Wall.
Man, I remember watching a video a while back with Michael and he was talking about how you could always tell a good musician, comparing a musician to a dancer, saying 'A dancer shouldn't count the steps, but rather feel the music they are dancing to. Feel the guitar, drums, etc. Same applies to a musician. Don't think as much as try to feel the song, service the song and play or sing what is called for. I have worked with people like this in the past who think too much and should really try to feel the music they are recording / performing. Feel is key!'
That always stuck with me and he was so right. God bless you Michael Jackson."
