EVILE Discuss Working With Producer Russ Russell On Infected Nations

British thrashers EVILE are preparing to release their new studio album, Infected Nations on September 21st in Europe and September 22nd in the US.
The band recorded Infected Nations with producer Russ Russell (NAPALM DEATH), and Evile lead guitarist Ol Drake now talks about what it was like working with Russ:
"We met Russ a year or two ago at a gig in London. He expressed his fondness for the band and said he'd like to work with us. Years later when it came to picking a producer, Russ instantly came to mind. After many e-mails, I was really chuffed we were going with Russ. He really puts his heart into his projects. He'll stay up into the middle of the night if he wants to, if it'll get a result he wants. Russ was basically a fifth member of the band for the album - he had a lot of input in the structures and arrangements, but that's not to say we didn't write it as Evile. Russ is such an underrated and overlooked metal producer and is such a nice guy to work with. I don't see how anyone could not get on with him! It was such a pleasure to work with him on this. Thank you Russ!!"Check out a video of Russ Russell talking about working with Evile below:
