BLEEDING THROUGH and Rise Records have joined forces.

The Southern California based band, who celebrates their 10 Year Anniversary next month with a West Coast tour, has announced their alliance with Rise Records, the Portland based independent record label.

"We're very excited to align with a record label that has so much momentum and is growing when many seem to be faltering, dropping bands and firing employees," said frontman Brandan Schieppati. "Rise continues to grow. We've been a band for a decade and we wanted to be with someone who is enthusiastic about Bleeding Through and is in a position to help us continue to grow and progress as well."

Rise Records president Craig Ericson had this to say about the signing. "We are beyond excited to work with Bleeding Through. We've been huge fans ever since their release on Indecision Records. Having Bleeding Through in the family is a dream come true. We both share extreme passion for music and can't wait to show the world what we can achieve together as a team."

Brandan adds, "A lot of labels, managers and agents carry these egos as if they are the most important part of the equation. It's all about what the bands can do for them, to advance their interests, instead of the other way around. We had a lot of serious interest from several labels, many of whom we get along with. But we felt like Rise is the best fit for us because they are excited about our band and our music first and foremost."

Bleeding Through has sold over a quarter million records around the world over the course of their career. This is Love, This is Murderous (2003), The Truth (2006) and last year's uncompromising Declaration have propelled the hard-working band from the hardcore underground to the worldwide stage.

Bleeding Through plays three shows in Mexico this weekend. Next month, they will embark on their BLK, END FASHION Clothing sponsored 10 Year Anniversary Tour, with CARNIFEX, MISS MAY I and MOTIONLESS IN WHITE in tow. Check out tour dates here.

Bleeding Through tentatively plans to record the followup to Declaration in early 2010.
