Sterling Whitaker at We Will Rock You has posted Part Five of his recent interview with legendary YES / KING CRIMSON / EARTHWORKS drummer Bill Bruford.
According to Whitaker: "In this segment we discuss whether music is a gift, a curse or a job; the inherent emotional difficulty of working in music; musicians as damaged personalities; the stir that Bruford’s book has caused because he addressed issues like self-expectation, the destructive nature of 'the industry of human happiness,' and burnout in print; retirement from live performance and what the future holds for Bill Bruford, including a new record, lectures, managing archival material, and teaching; and reactions to the book."
