"Ronnie sustained a vocal injury a few week ago while performing with his BLACK SABBATH tribute band MOB RULES as well as preparing for Vicious Rumors appearance at the Headbangers Open Air 2009 festival (taking place from July 23rd to July 25th in Brande, Germany near Hamburg). The doctor said the injury was caused due to over usage of his voice and he was already developing a small throat infection which ultimately caused the injury.Ronnie had been hard at work preparing for the HOA pre-party and the headlining set for the festival as well as writing for BLOOD RED SKIES (formerly DIVINE RUINS) next CD and performing with his tribute bands which caused the injury but the show must and will go on."
