Alberta's Harvesting Hell Metal Open Air Forced To Move Locations Due To "Metal Prejudices"

Organizers for Alberta's Harvesting Hell Metal Open Air have been forced to change locations of the festival.
Says the Harvesting Hell Crew: "The good people of Benalto, Alberta are wonderful and hospitable, but the county in which they built their hamlet has some rules, prejudices and officials that are prohibitive to running a festival that involves a less conservative bent than ferris wheels and balloon twisters. Metal it seems, is not in the cards for that spot at this time. Despite our intention to have this festival take place in between Edmonton and Calgary, we have switched to the northern side and settled on a site near Drayton Valley 110 Km West of Edmonton off of HWY 16. We apologize of the inconvenience to those that need to drive the extra hour but, when you see the location, we are sure that you will agree that the beauty, serenity and remote location is worth your time and ours."
Harvesting Hell Metal Open Air runs from September 4th-6th. Pioneers of technical death metal ATHEIST and GNOSTIC have been confirmed to headline the night of September 5th. Other acts that have already been confirmed are as follows: QUO VADIS, DEAD JESUS, EXIT STRATEGY, REHASHED, HORDE OF ANACHRON, TROLLBAND, OMEGACROM, SIXGUN, KATAPLEXIS, WE FOUND THE BODY, FIRST CHURCH OF MUD, RIPPER/CUTTER, CALCULATING COLLAPSE and LUMMOX.
