TRIUMPH's Rik Emmet, SURVIVOR's Jimi Jamison, HARD ROAD To Take Part In Collingwood's Clearfest

TRIUMPH's Rik Emmet, SURVIVOR's Jimi Jamison and HARD ROAD (featuring former members of MOXY, SANTERS, KILLER DWARFS and LEE AARON) will be taking part in the Clearfest Concert for Cancer Research at the Greater Northern Exhibition (GNE) Fairgrounds (2220 Fairgrounds Road North) in Collingwood, ON. This event is planned to start at 12:00 pm on Aug 8, 2009 at Greater Northern Exhibition (GNE) Fairgrounds.
According to a press release, "Clearfest is more than just a fundraiser. It is an opportunity to build regional and community spirit together with family and friends, while celebrating the lives of people who have battled cancer. This type of camaraderie allows those who have lost close people to cancer the strength and permission to stand up in the hope of finding a cure for this disease. Our ultimate goal is to help the Canadian Cancer Society fund the most promising research and to enhance the quality of life for people living with cancer. "
