Selling over 3,600 copies of their gargantuan album, Blood Oath, since its July 14th release, New York based extreme metal legends SUFFOCATION have landed at #135 on the Billboard Top 200 Chart and at #2 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) Chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200.

Mike Smith shares his thoughts on this accomplishment: “When a label and band truly have the visions for success in mind, the only thing stopping us is ourselves. We can finally breathe, now that a real partnership is in place.”

Joann Gullo of Extreme Management Group adds: “We are all very grateful to have developed this relationship with Nuclear Blast. This is proof that the right partnership is in place and greatness will prevail.”

Blood Oath was recorded with Joe Cincotta (who worked on the band's last two releases) and was mixed by Zack Ohren (ALL SHALL PERISH, DECREPIT BIRTH). The cover artwork was once again brought to life by Jon Zig (DEEDS OF FLESH, DISGORGE, GORGASM).

Blood Oath tracklist: 'Blood Oath', 'Dismal Dream', 'Pray For Forgiveness', 'Images Of Purgatory', 'Cataclysmic Purification', 'Mental Hemorrhage', 'Come Hell Or High Priest', 'Undeserving', 'Provoking The Disturbed', 'Marital Decimation', 'Undeserving' (Rough Mix Un-Mastered - iTunes Exclusive Bonus Track), 'Marital Decimation' (Instrumental Version - iTunes Exclusive Bonus Track).
