THE 11TH HOUR, the band featuring Ed Warby (GOREFEST/HAIL OF BULLETS) and Rogga Johansson (RIBSPREADER/PAGANIZER), have issued the following update from Warby:
"Much like the main character in the album's story I'm racing against the clock, although I'm not trying to save my soul but just trying to make the best album I possibly can!Rogga recorded his vocals last week and they're awesome, as expected, although the man was sick as a dog when he did them. We thought it was morbidly apt that he should be suffering from respiratory problems while performing the part of a man dying from a lung disease... anyway, his voice sounds powerful as ever and really takes the songs to a much higher level than I could imagine.
After months of hard labor it's great to see all the pieces of this gargantuan puzzle fall neatly into places, only a few pieces left. I'm doing guitar solos and lead themes now, lots of intricate double/triple/quadruple twin stuff which is hell to record but awesome to hear. And hopefully tomorrow I'll finally start recording my own vocals, about time!
Ronnie has already set up a basic mix of drums, bass and rhythm guitars and it sounds real good, heavy yet clear and punchy. I have a feeling this is going to turn out quite all right."
