BETRAYER - New Album To Be Mixed/Mastered By Fredrik Nordström

According to a band update, Canadian metallers BETRAYER have announced that they are currently recording their new full length album titled Ages Of Defiance. Nine tracks are fully written and the album is expected to be recorded, mixed and mastered by the end of October, 2009. No release date has been announced at this time.
The album is currently being recorded at Spectre Sound Studios by engineer Glenn Fricker, who has worked previously with such acts as Randy Blythe of LAMB OF GOD, WOODS OF YPRES, BLOODSHOTEYE and BLACK KREEK.
A studio report reads as follows: "Shawn Bastien went into the studio on July 20th, 2009 to start laying down the drum tracks. Everything is sounding great so far and Shawn was able to wrap up the drums completely on July 25th. Jeff Klingbeil is set to record the rhythm guitars on August 1st."
The album will be mixed and mastered by renowned producer Fredrik Nordström from DREAM EVIL, whose credits include ARCH ENEMY, OPETH, DIMMU BORGIR, DREAM EVIL, HAMMERFALL, THE HAUNTED and IN FLAMES.
