Metal-hardcore juggernaut HATEBREED invite fans to attend a shoot for a new video, being shot in Hatebreed’s home state of Connecticut this Thursday, July 30th from 8 AM to 6 PM.

As previously reported, Hatebreed have released a video for 'Thirsty And Miserable', their cover of the BLACK FLAG classic featured on their covers alblum, For The Lions. Check it out below.

As previously reported, Hatebreed have re-entered the studio to begin work on their new studio album, which is slated for a fall 2009 release.

Hatebreed's follow up to 2006’s Supremacy will be released on E1 Music in North America and Roadrunner in all other territories. The new album will be self-titled and is shaping up to be one of the band’s most ferocious albums ever.

Frontman Jamey Jasta comments, "I can't wait to work with E1 Music and Roadrunner International on this release - E1 did a great job with our Live Dominance DVD and our recent covers album. We're so pumped to give them both our new studio album!"

The announcement of the band’s new album is also part of E1’s continuing / expanding relationship with the group after its initial first 2 releases together, including the #1 charting Billboard DVD Live Dominance and the recently released covers album,

For The Lions.

Scott Givens, E1 Music’s VP of Metal says, “E1Entertainment is proud to be the home of Hatebreed in North America. I speak for everyone here when I say we are 100% committed to putting every resource we have behind the new record. Wally van Middendorp, with Roadrunner International, adds, “After having released their last two studio albums on Roadrunner internationally, it is an honor to work again with Hatebreed, a band that is on top of its musical league.”

The new album will be once again produced by Zeuss and will feature the return of original guitar player Wayne Lozinak (who recently replaced departed guitarist Sean Martin) alongside core members Chris Beattie (bass), Matt Byrne (drums), Frank “3 Gun” Novinec (guitar) and singer Jamey Jasta.

Jasta continues, “The record is mean as hell, fans of American metal and east coast hardcore will be very pleased and maybe even somewhat surprised."

The band is currently taking a breather from the recording studio and touring Europe and South America doing a series of high profile festival appearances and headline shows in before returning to the US for its own headline Decimation Of The Nation tour which

begins in late July and runs through September.

The songs on For The Lions were selected by Hatebreed to represent a panoramic view of some of their favourite artists and greatest musical inspirations.

Here are the details for the Hatebreed For The Lions Cover Contest:

1) Contestants must submit a) a video cover of one of their favourite Hatebreed songs and b) a video cover of one of the songs featured on For The Lions. Please send all entries to hatebreedcontest@gmail.com.

2) Contestants have until July 15th, 2009 to submit their videos.

3) The videos submitted will be featured on the For The Lions YouTube page from July 22nd - August 19th.

4) The contestant with the most overall views on both videos (at 11:59pm on August 19th, 2009) will win and their videos will be posted on Hatebreed's website and MySpace page for 1 month. The winner will also receive a signed poster and copy of For The Lions.

Rules & Regulations

1. No purchase necessary to enter. To enter the Hatebreed For The Lions Cover Contest (the “Contest"), complete the official online entry form (please be sure to include your full contact information, email address, area code and cellular phone number). The Contest commences on July 15th and runs until August 19th, 2009.

2. To be eligible, entries must be received on or before the contest closing date of July 15th, 2009. (11:59 p.m. EST). All entries shall become the property of E1 Entertainment and as such will not be returned.

3. There will be 1 grand prize consisting of of video placement on Hatebreed's Myspace and website + signed For The Lions poster & CD.

5. A JUDGEMENT FOR the prize will take place at the E1 Entertainment Canada Scarborough Head Office on or about August 20th at 9:00 a.m. EST. The decision of the contest judge is final and made based on the combined total views of the 2 submitted videos. The Sponsor will attempt to notify the selected entrants by cellular phone or email and within forty-eight (48) hours of the draw. No correspondence will be entered into except with the selected entrants.

6. By entering “The contest” through Bravewords.com the winner agrees that entry into the contest releases the Sponsor and their directors, officers, representatives, advertising and promotional agencies from any and all liability arising out of, pursuant to, or as a result of the carrying out of the Contest (including liability arising from the acceptance of and participation in any prize as awarded) and confirming compliance with contest rules prior to acceptance of any prize. Prizes must be accepted as awarded, with no cash substitution. Prizes are non-transferable.

7. This Contest is open to residents around the world and excluding all employees (current or retired) of E1 Entertainment, their subsidiaries and affiliates, advertising agencies and their immediate families and those with whom they are domiciled.
