Wacken Open Air - KAMPFAR Cancel Performance; Wacken Hymn Available At iTunes

Organizers for the 2009 Wacken Open Air festival, which is currently underway through August 1st in Wacken, Germany, have issued the following update:
"Unfortunately, we have to inform you that, due to personal reasons, KAMPFAR had to cancel their gig on Saturday. The W:O:A office has just received the message. The official statement as follows:"Due to a sudden family matter for one member of Kampfar, we are forced to cancel our show at Wacken Open Air this year. We feel bad towards the Wacken Festival, ICS and the people who came to see us. But if you know Kampfar, you know that we always come back strong. See you in the future!"We apologize for any inconvenience!"
In other news, the Wacken hymn, 'We Are The Metalheads' is now available at the iTunes shop.
