hot flashes news

BW&BK; has received the following press release:

Rock Gone Wild, America's newest and most diverse rock festival, has announced that Epiphone Guitar has signed on as the official guitar of the festival. The company will partner with Rock Gone Wild to produce an exclusive signature festival guitar that will be used in promotional giveaways to further enhance the profile of both RGW and Epiphone.

The Epiphone story has roots as far back as 1873, but the modern history starts in 1957, when the brand was acquired by guitar giant Gibson. A major break for the Epiphone brand came when the Beatles used Casino guitars (made by Epiphone) on many of its American tour and television appearances.  The company has continued to expand over the years, and continues to support guitarists worldwide with the finest in musical instruments. At the peak of his band’s popularity, Oasis guitarist Noel Gallagher used the iconic Supernova signature model, which was built specifically for him. Current Epiphone signature models include the Zakk Wylde, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Nikki Sixx, Jack Casady, Tony Iommi and more. The modern Epiphone catalog offers greater diversity than ever with a wide range of guitars, basses, mandolins, banjos and amplifiers.

Rock Gone Wild will award three Epiphone guitars to lucky Platinum seat ticket holders during the festival's weekend run. On Friday, Puddle of Mudd will visit the Sinner's Lounge and sign a limited edition Rock Gone Wild guitar for the lucky winner. On Saturday, Twisted Sister will giveaway and sign one of its own signature Epiphone guitars after its closing performance. On Sunday, Sevendust will also sign a limited edition Rock Gone Wild guitar for a platinum ticket holder in the Sinner's Lounge.

Organizers of the show have also announced that the Iowa-based, four-day festival is being moved from Freedom Park in Algona to The Diamond Jo Casino in Northwood. The Diamond Jo Casino is a gambling casino and entertainment complex located just south of the Iowa/Minnesota border on Interstate 35 in Northwood. Rock Gone Wild is an all-ages festival, which will be held outdoors utilizing the casino and adjacent properties. RV and tent camping areas are available for the duration of the festival. The new venue is 110 miles south of Minneapolis and 135 miles north of Des Moines, which means fans who are flying into those areas will actually be closer to the venue than they would have been to the Algona site.

The festival will still be held on August 20-23. All previously sold tickets will be honored on the original dates. The festival organizers have announced the line-ups for each day of the festival:
