August 1, 2009, 15 years ago
WEDNESDAY 13 announced that he has tapped producer Brent Clawson to mix his new project, GUNFIRE 76.
Although best known for being the bassist for BULLETS AND OCTANE, Brent has spent many years in the studio working as a producer, engineer and mixer. Brent produced, mixed and engineered Nick Oliveri’s band THE KNIVES release Dirty Angel, he engineered and mixed GUTTERMOUTH’s Eat Your Face and produced, engineered and mixed the last two CDs from Bullets And Octane - Song For The Underdog and Bullets And Octane, which are being re-released as a double CD this October.
Originally set to record in Los Angeles, with producer Howard Willing, setbacks and conflicting schedules have found Wednesday 13 recording the debut for Gunfire 76 with studio musicians in Charlotte, NC. So far seven of the 12 songs have been completed. No official band members have been selected yet.
