As previously reported, Sterling Whitaker at We Will Rock You recently caught up with KANSAS / NATIVE WINDOW violinist David Ragsdale. Part 4 of the audio interview is now available at this location.
According to Whitaker, "In this segment we discuss Ragsdale doing some demo work for Kansas and how that led to him getting hired; how much latitude he has to re-interpret some of the parts from the original recordings; fitting into Kansas from a personality perspective; the Live At The Whiskey project; why he left Kansas in 1997 and why he now thinks that was a mistake; what he did in the intervening years; Ragsdale’s return to Kansas; and the travel and wear and tear of touring and how that plays into personality conflicts in bands."
