University Of Calgary Students To Study JIMI HENDRIX, LED ZEPPELIN

Want to experience a little JIMI? Hear somebody ramble on about LED ZEPPELIN?
Then come on down to the University of Calgary, where along with the usual compliment of math, science and humanities courses, there's a growing number of post-secondary programs that students might find a little more interesting.
"I've been doing (the Led Zeppelin) course for four or five years now," said sessional instructor Ralph Maier."It's become very popular, generally the course fills up almost as soon as it goes online."
Initially students might think class time will be spent listening to the musical icons, but Maier said the course is a lot more than that.
"We get into the history of the band as well as the music they did and look at it with kind of a critical approach," he said.
