Former FREHLEY'S COMET vocalist/keyboardist/guitarist Tod Howarth has checked in with the following update:
"A lot of things have been going on, not just for me but a few 'others' as well. Ace Frehley's new CD is coming out soon, and from what I've heard, the stuff is rockin'. All the best to him and the new solo CD, truly. Maybe this will work out for a Comet re-union of sorts....in the way future....who knows?CHEAP TRICK has got another new CD coming out too and again, from what I've heard, it's great stuff. They are one of my favorite bands and Robin is the best under-rated rock singer hands down. They are on on tour right now doing great.
I just recently did a podcast interview with James and Ken from www.podkisst.com and after getting over my 'exhausted' state of mind (a lot of work that day) we had a damn good time. They asked great questions, and I had recorded a quick acoustic version of 'Calling To You' for them at their request. I thank them tremendously!
My new solo CD is coming together, I should be mixing it in two weeks or so. I have little time to work on it but I'm biting off pieces as they present themselves so there it is, I have not dropped of the face of the musical planet, just busting the proverbial nut that we all have to do in one way or another.
