According to the Lollapalooza Blog, if you were trying to buy THEM CROOKED VULTURES tickets for their Metro show on Sunday night, August 9th in Chicago, you undoubtedly saw this page followed by “No Inventory Currently Available.” Lollapalooza fans from facebook, twitter and Lolla’s message board are irate over the technical difficulties.
Them Crooked Vultures feature John Paul Jones (LED ZEPPELIN), Dave Grohl (FOO FIGHTERS) and Josh Homme (QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE). According to Billboard, details about the hard rock supergroup's work are scant, but the lineage is quite clear. Jones and Grohl have worked together many times before, including two tracks on the Foo Fighters' 2005 release In Your Honor as well as joining the Foo Fighters on stage in June 2008 at Wembley Arena. Grohl lent his drumming talents to Queens Of The Stone Age's 2002 release Songs For The Deaf.
