According to keyboardist JON LORD's (ex-DEEP PURPLE) official website, the second movement of Jon Lord and EBERHARD SCHOENER’s Windows suite has surfaced on YouTube.
It features vocals by Tony Ashton, David Coverdale (WHITESNAKE, ex-Deep Purple) and GLENN HUGHES (ex-Deep Purple/BLACK SABBATH) with Pete York (ex-SPENCER DAVIS GROUP) on drums, Fay Fenwick on guitar and – of course – Jon Lord on piano.
The project was put together in 1974 and performed during a Eurovision presentation of Prix Jeunesse on Saturday 1st June 1974 at Herkulessaal in Munich.
Televised to several European countries, the piece was only performed this once and the audio was later released as the Windows album. The TV broadcast is not commercially available.
